About Feralabs

FeraLabs is a new start-up based in Berlin and Hastings, founded by Sabrina Mach and James Page.

Feralabs specialises in remote usability testing!

Why we started

FeraLabs was started because, while at University College London, Sabrina needed effective Remote Usability Testing Software. The systems on offer were either too expenses, too difficult to setup or didn't work. So we started to develop Webnographer.

Our aims

The idea is for Webnographer is to enable fast user testing outside of the labs. Our intention is that a development team will be able to get results back in a couple of hours using more than the normal number of participants, and far cheaper.

James Page, Partner at Feralabs

James started off as a programmer, but soon realised that, to see what he has created was becoming a reality, he would have to be entrepreneur as well.

James has been involved in a number of start ups, including Eidos (who went on to launch Tomb Raider), and Deckchair.com with Bob Geldof.

He is passionate about making software less frustrating.

Sabrina Mach, Partner at Feralabs

Sabrina has a background in market research, design and human computer interaction. She is passionate about making web evaluations easier, more effective and measurable.

Sabrina has studied an MSc in Human-Computer Interaction with Ergonomics at the University College London. Her MSc project compared the benefits and trade-offs between conventional lab testing and unmoderated remote usability testing.
